J&M A/C & Refrigeration, LLC was founded in 2011 by Owner/President John Gore with the vision of building a business that would support his family as well as provide essential HVAC & Refrigeration services to the surrounding area.  J&M is a family owned business with the goal to provide reliable, honest, and superior service to both Residential and Commercial clients.

John holds a KY HVAC Master’s License as well as EPA Certification.  He is also a contracted Service Representative for two major ice machine manufacturers, Hoshizaki America and Manitowoc Ice as well as a dealer for Rheem HVAC products.  He has attended numerous hours of training on HVAC & Refrigeration systems. These certifications, along with years of experience, allow John and his team of technicians to troubleshoot and repair a variety of ice machines and restaurant equipment as well as commercial and residential heating and cooling units.

John resides in Calloway County with his wife, Susan, and children, Mason and Lucas.  They enjoy spending time together fishing, camping, and being outdoors.  J&M is a family business and as such, you will often find his wife and boys around the office helping out or just visiting.  We would truly appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. J&M A/C & Refrigeration, LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time Lead HVAC Installation Technician /Foreman. J&M is a locally owned and operated business located near Benton, KY. We specialize in both Residential and Commercial Heating and Cooling as well as Commercial Refrigeration and Restaurant Equipment Repair. We are currently looking for qualified individuals to join our team of HVAC Technicians and Installers.

Requirements:

Applicant must possess a strong working knowledge of HVAC installation code requirements, systems, equipment, and techniques. A working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is required. Applicant must be able to bend, lift, climb ladders, crawl under houses, and work in attics. Good communication skills and the ability to lead a team are necessary for this supervisory position. Depending on the season, work will be done in both hot and cold conditions. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure accurately and build ductwork for existing units and new installs

  • Install ductwork and units in accordance with code requirements

  • Lead installation helpers in the installation process

  • Assist with job estimation and planning of both commercial and residential projects

  • Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Compensation:

J&M offers a competitive compensation plan. The pay rate for this position is $25.00/hour-$35.00/hour dependent upon experience. Benefits include the following:
